VivoCity


Officially opened in 1 December 2006, VivoCity is the largest shopping mall in Singapore. It is located in the HarbourFront district. According to Mapletree Chairman (Developer and Owner) Edmund Cheng, VivoCity "evokes a lifestyle experience that is modern, stimulating and accessible to everyone, a place bubbling with energy and flowing with vitality". At the end of the first week after its official opening, the mall had recorded nearly a million visitors. Since 2006, VivoCity has also served as the official venue for the live televised countdown to the New Year.

Special Features:
Golden Village Vivocity (cinema) – Singapore’s largest multiplex
The mall holds Singapore's largest cinema multiplex with 15 screens and 2,293 seats, managed by the cinema operator Golden Village, along with one of the largest cinema screens in Asia.


Rooftop water feature in Sky Park
It is as big as about 4 Olympic-sized swimming pools and is an icon within Vivocity that will enthral and excite both the young and old.

Rooftop Amphitheatre
It is a platform to showcase the vibrant arts and cultural scene in Singapore.

Open-air Playground
It is a whole world delight for the kids at the open-air playground at level 2. The interactive water features and engaging play areas are sure to leave them screaming for more.
